ISA Summer Term 2013

I just stumbled upon this website after looking it up on FedS website :p..
Anyway, WELCOME TO SUMMER TERM 2013 !!!
We are currently still in our term break, so I will just make a short update. (by which i mean co-paste-ing and tweaking the previous entry)
As you all know, this blog has been in a dormant state for quite a while. Now, we’re reviving the old modern journaling technique. So get ready for all these new updated blog posts about ISA events this winter summer term 2013!!!

Description: ISA catered Indonesian food from a Toronto catering company, Kecapi Simfonia Rasa. KJRI Toronto visited us for this event including the Indonesian consulate general from Toronto.

Description: ISA prepared Saman dance for the Cultural Caravan of 2013. We did not pass audition due to lack of music and professional training. KJRI lent the saman costume as shown below.

End of Term Dinner

Niagara Falls Trip

Total Cost: $215 – car rental, $40 per room per night (Ritz Inn) and activities cost.
Total Subsidized: $0
Description: ISA had a one night trip to Niagara Falls, we stayed at Ritz Inn which is owned by an Indonesian (Edbert Oey’s dad). He provided us with a cheaper rate of $40 per night. The first night we arrived at night, we ate at the Falls Manor broasted chicken and went to inn after that. The second day, we ate breakfast at IHOP, played mini putt, go kart, Fear Factory, and ate Beaver Tail. Pictures and more descriptions can be found in the Facebook link below.

Bowling and Hot Pot
